I don't do this hike from my house very often, because I'm worried that if I go in the evening, I'll get eaten by a mountain lion. But as you can see, I made it unscathed. I didn't even see a lion (or a bear for that matter), but I did see a few deer. The trail takes me up to the NCAR mesa, then I walked down Table Mesa road.
I'm still listening to Metro Girl, and it's not as bad as it was at the beginning, but I do find my mind drifting more than when I was listening to Harry Potter.
